I truly love everything about Colectivo. They do so many things well. The coffee has always been for real coffee and tea drinkers (not for dessert drinks dressed like coffee). In the past few years I haven’t enjoyed their brewed coffee. It always has fruity notes which I don’t care for in my coffee. Now I go for the bakery and food. If I want coffee I have to make sure I it doesn’t have fruit undertones as most of it does. The atmosphere is unique at each location with a few similarities. In recent years it could be cleaner. The staff is friendly and helpful. The bakery is by far better than you will find at other coffee shops. The menu is small, but what they offer is good quality. I was always fairly limited as I try to avoid dairy and gluten. They have decent options. The only challenge can be finding a place to sit. People really camp out for a long time. I have been going since close to the beginning. I was inspired to write a review as I thought about how they started and have grown, yet remain such a great part of each neighborhood they serve.

Colectivo is the best coffee in Milwaukee. Their Shorewood location is a great place to work from or grab a bite to eat. The workers are always very kind and the food is always good!

Nice, clean neighborhood hangout. Love that there is outdoor seating year round with little gazebos in case one is walking with the dog and has to sit outside.

Colectivo is addictive! I enjoy their coffee and every breakfast or lunch item I’ve ordered here. The pumpkin cranberry muffin is absolutely amazing. It’s always extremely moist, it melts in your mouth!!! The staff is always very nice. I’ve had a broken left ankle and sprained right ankle. The curbside service ended awhile back. However, they have been so accommodating and helpful. The staff has told me to call ahead of time so they can bring what I’ve ordered to my car. Always a great experience at this location and all locations.

Food is pretty mid, but the service is what keeps bringing me back! My new favorite is the Pumpkin Scone, it's so good!

Great local cafe. I enjoy stone creek coffee better but I like this location far more than the Stone Creek on Oakland for the ambience.
